A full, valid driver's licence held for at least 12 months, and you'll need to be 25 or older. If your licence isn't in English, an International Driving Permit or official translation is required. Standard car licence is fine — our motorhomes are all under 6,000kg.

Yes. All our motorhomes are self-contained certified, meaning they have onboard toilet and wastewater storage — so you're legal for freedom camping where it's permitted. We'll walk you through how everything works at pickup.

We've got you covered 24/7. Nationwide roadside assistance is included with every hire — just call the number in your rental documents and help will be on the way. You're never on your own out there.

Absolutely. Many of our customers take the Interislander ferry between the North and South Islands. We're happy to help with ferry bookings, and one-way hires between islands are available.

Yes — typically 9 to 14 nights depending on the season. Peak periods like Christmas and New Year may have longer minimums. Get in touch early if you're planning a summer trip, as availability fills up fast.

Yes — your furry travel companion is welcome. Just let us know when you book so we can sort the right vehicle for you. A cleaning fee applies.

Not at all. If you're comfortable behind the wheel of a car, you'll take to it quickly. New Zealand roads can be narrow and winding in places — just take your time, enjoy the pace, and the journey becomes part of the trip.
